Sentence Mitigation

Sentence mitigation refers to forensic assessment designed to delineate psychological factors that may assist the Court in gaining a better understanding about the actions of a defendant and use psychological concepts to highlight the reasons for which the Court may want to consider mitigating a sentence imposed on a particular defendant.
